Asbestos Inspector
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Inspector to join our team in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections of buildings and structures to determine the presence of asbestos-containing materials and compiling detailed reports.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough asbestos inspections of buildings and structures, including visual inspections and collecting bulk samples for laboratory analysis
- Document the location, type, and condition of asbestos-containing materials found during inspections
- Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings, including recommendations for remediation and abatement
- Communicate findings and recommendations with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to asbestos inspections and abatement
- Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection results, including laboratory reports and other documentation
- Attend required training sessions to maintain required certifications and licenses
- Perform other duties as assigned by the project supervisor
requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Valid Asbestos Inspector certification
- At least 3 years of experience in asbestos inspections and abatement projects
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to asbestos inspections and abatement
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in New York City
